Your Fairway Loan Officer here to help you!

Team Nelson Loans, Fairway Home Mortgage

Two standing classes every month. Both are free, both are on Zoom, and neither one is a sales pitch.

The most expensive thing in a mortgage is usually not the rate. It is not understanding what is happening to you while it happens. So once a month I open a Zoom room and explain it. One class is for people buying a home, the other is for the agents who walk them through it. Email me and I will send you the link.

For home buyers

First-Time Home Buyer Class

An hour built to show you exactly what the process looks like, before you are standing in the middle of it.

Last Tuesday of every month 6:00 PM MT About an hour Live on Zoom

Buying your first home is the biggest purchase most people ever make, and almost nobody explains the process until you are already standing in the middle of it. Once a month I walk through the whole thing live, then stay on for questions.

Zero sales. Zero pressure. You do not need to be ready to buy, pre-approved, or working with me. Come just to understand how it works.

What we cover

  • Every step of the process, in the order it actually happens
  • What a lender actually looks at, and what people worry about that does not matter
  • What you will need to have ready, and when
  • Down payments and assistance programs: what is real versus what you have heard
  • Open Q&A, where nothing is too basic to ask

For real estate agents

30 Minutes to Level Up

A realtor-focused class built to make you shine even more than you already do.

2nd Tuesday of every month 1:00 PM MT 30 minutes Live on Zoom

Thirty minutes, once a month: fifteen on a single lending topic, then fifteen of open Q&A on that topic, or on anything else your clients have thrown at you lately.

No pitch. I am not selling you on me and I am not selling you on Fairway. The point is that you walk back into your next client conversation knowing more than you did.

What we cover

  • One lending topic, explained in fifteen minutes
  • Fifteen minutes of open Q&A on the day’s topic or anything else
  • The questions your buyers ask that are hard to answer on the spot
  • What is changing in loan programs and guidelines
